These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Checker, a personal finance tracking application provided by Checker (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account or using Checker, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Checker, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Checker is a personal finance tracking tool that allows you to record income and expense transactions, categorize them, and generate financial reports and insights. The service is provided “as is” and is intended for personal use only. Checker does not provide financial advice, and nothing within the service should be construed as such.

You agree not to:

• Use Checker for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code into the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Checker
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service in a manner that places excessive load on our infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the service to store or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into Checker. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. The Checker name, logo, software, and all associated content are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission. We strive to keep Checker available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or any part of it, at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or any other reason, with or without notice. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by unavailability of the service.

Checker is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other losses arising from your use of or inability to use Checker, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Checker and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Checker after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
